TOOTAY and ITRON have collaborated in an effort to conduct a technology demonstration of TOOTAY's Advanced 3D milling solutions to the international drilling community, in particular, the A & F International 2010 to be held in our hometown of Vancouver, Canada! It is part of an effort to showcase these new 3D milling solutions and share our new technologies with the world.
We comment on some topics concerning different classes of welded structures for the assessment of advanced statistical methods. The generalized inverse distribution family (GIDF) is a rich class of probability distributions that has been studied widely in a wide range of practical applications. This paper discusses the use of different sampling techniques for estimating the statistics of GIDF, namely the maximum likelihood, the exact methods and the least square methods. Weighted residual sampling methods are used for implementing the Monte Carlo and MCAL approaches as well as the Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) methods. Then, an adaptive MCMC algorithm is proposed to improve the efficiency of the MCMC method and to reduce the computational burden. Furthermore, standard techniques for ranking alternatives within output space (SH and DSA) are also discussed with emphasis on the special cases in which only ordinal data are available. 7211a4ac4a
