I have been assisting families with birth and babies in various ways for the past 15 years.
I am a firm believer in gentle birth and empowerment of women and families through holding space and education. Every woman deserves to have a supported, safe birth.
Aside from the distinguished honor of serving as a licensed midwife, I am a home-schooling mom of four busy boys, and one amazing daughter. They fill my days with constant energy. Needless to say, with 5 kiddos and an zoo of animals, including horses, dogs, cats and goldfish, life at our house is never boring, which is exactly how we love it!
My husband and I have been married for over 20 years. He is in the Marine Corps and currently stationed at Camp Pendleton. We are both originally from Colorado, but our family has had the privilege of living and working in Oklahoma, Virginia, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Okinawa, Japan and now Oceanside, CA.

As they say, "Home is where the Marines send you!".
Our family is thrilled to have the opportunity to call Southern California home!

Our children are competitive swimmers and lots of time is spent at the pool and swim meets! In my "spare time" you will find me exploring the local beach, reading, gardening, traveling, playing with corgi puppies, thrift store shopping and enjoying the amazing Mexican food found here in Southern California and craving the amazing Thai food I so loved in Okinawa.
