My husband and I chose to pursue a doula for the birth of our first child so I could increase the chances of achieving the natural birth I desired. The first time we met Amanda we knew she would be a great fit. Her down to earth and calming personality, professionalism, confidence, and experience were just what my husband and I needed to achieve our perfect birth. She coached my husband through how to help manage my pain and when he needed rest she stepped in without hesitation. She assisted me with the all important initial breastfeeding, offered advice, documented our experience, and most of all provided continuous encouragement during my “marathon” labor. Thank you Amanda for all of your caring actions! We are so thankful to have had you be such an integral part of the birth of our little girl!
